Katz & Dawgz is a part of the Media and Social Action ARC at the University of Oregon; this community works towards educating audiences about problems through the use of media. With this project, we hope to educate people on the benefits of adopting animals. We plan to achieve this by collaborating with shelters around Eugene, Oregon. Katz & Dawgz plans on hosting events on Saturday, May 21st and Sunday, May 22nd at Kalapuya Ilihi from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to encourage people to volunteer and donate to local animal shelters.
